Back to topRecord Linkage (RL) is the most granular approach to data integration, enabling the record-by-record combination of multiple data sources. Advances in computation and data collection have accelerated the use of RL across a wide range of domains. At the same time, RL continues to pose a variety of challenges concerning linkage quality, scalability, uncertainty quantification and -propagation, and data privacy. Addressing these challenges requires cross-disciplinary efforts that span statistics, computer science, and the substantive fields that aim to use RL and linked data to answer a variety of scientific questions. This workshop aims to create a platform for an exchange of ideas and collaboration to generate advances at multiple fronts including the development of statistical and machine learning methodology to improve linkages and facilitate the analysis of linked data sets, the reconciliation of data privacy and utility in RL, as well as use cases that will drive further innovation.
Poster Sessions and Lightning Talks
This workshop will include a poster session and lightning talks for early career researchers (including graduate students). In order to propose a poster or a lightning talk, you must first register for the workshop, and then submit a proposal using the form that will become available on this page after you register. You can request to do one, or both. The registration form should not be used to propose a poster or a lightning talk.
The deadline for proposing is Sunday May 23, 2027. If your proposal is accepted, you should plan to attend the event in-person.
In-Person Registration
Seats are limited at the venue, which means that in-person registration may be capped prior to the workshop start date. If capacity is reached, a waitlist will be imposed, which the registration form will reflect. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
All in-person registrants must wait to receive an invitation to attend in-person from IMSI before traveling, which generally begin to be sent out 4-6 weeks in advance.
All registrants (online and in-person) will receive zoom links and are welcome to attend online.
Registration Fees
A non-refundable registration fee will be payable by credit card or debit card for any participants invited to attend this workshop in-person. In-person participants agree to pay the non-refundable fee by the deadline given by IMSI. Failure to pay the fee by the deadline may mean that the invitation to attend in-person is revoked.
