Robotics, Autonomy, and AI in Traffic Management

April 12 — 15, 2027

Description

Autonomy started to impact traffic in the last decade at an unprecedented pace. Beside the deployment of autonomous vehicles, most commercially available cars are produced with various levels of autonomy, ranging from Automated Cruise Control to self-parking cars. On the other side, AI is providing tools to deal with complex dynamics and ever increasing big data. This falls within the broader areas of AI for robotics. The workshops will bring together a set of researchers with different expertise in these areas to serve as a breeding ground for future perspectives. The workshop will include a round-table, at the end of three of the workshop days, focused on: a) autonomy and robotics in traffic, b) AI tools for processing of large traffic datasets, c) mathematical approaches towards AI for autonomy.
