Abstract: Explaining new ideas well enough for others to recreate it is the core challenge of science and near impossible to do in writing. Especially for materials informatics research, the data and the software which links it to new knowledge must be shared in their original condition. In this talk, we explain how the Materials Data Facility and its associated tools simplify sharing and discovering research data, analysis-ready datasets, and machine learning tools. For each type of publication, we will demonstrate the benefits of publishing each type of science artifact then explain how to realize such benefits in your own research. We hope you will end our presentation with the knowledge to make your research more impactful without additional effort.
